The need and demand for Pappus House has outgrown our humble starter home. Our current three-bedroom home consistently operates at full capacity and receives daily inquiries from families hoping and praying for help. Unfortunately, over 50% of referrals are turned away because of lack of bed space.
Thankfully, we are happy to announce that plans for the future and expansion of our mission have begun. With the help of some visionary members of our community, we have already purchased our new home, a new destination for Pappus House, located atop a hill surrounded by York’s beautiful countryside, in a peaceful, pastoral setting. We are currently working with our contractor to transform the old SPCA in Thomasville into a home with eight private bedrooms which will enable us to have a positive impact across a larger region in Central Pennsylvania.
